GretschGear is a family-owned shop offering officially licensed Gretsch apparel and accessories. We hold a license from Fred Gretsch Enterprises to use the Gretsch name and marks — so every shirt, hat, and accessory we sell carries the real thing, not a knockoff or an approximation.

We are small by design. No call center, no endless catalog. Just a family that has spent generations around the Gretsch name, and a shop built for the people who love it.

Five Generations In

Most merchandise stores sell a logo. I grew up inside the story behind it.

I'm a fifth-generation member of the Gretsch family, and I spent 31 years in the Gretsch business — as manager of drum production, in IT, and as director of operations and finance. I've scheduled builds and walked the production line. I've run the systems behind the company and closed its books. I've seen the Gretsch name from just about every angle there is.

That perspective is what shapes this shop. We're not guessing what a Gretsch fan wants to wear. We know which badges and headstocks people love, which eras they're chasing, and why that Great Gretsch Sound still means something a century on.

Guitars and Drums Both

Gretsch has always been two great stories under one name. The hollow bodies that shaped rock and roll and rockabilly. The drums that have anchored jazz, country, and studio dates for generations.

Our designs celebrate both. Whether your Gretsch has strings or heads on it, you'll find something here that speaks your language.

What We Carry

• Apparel — T-shirts, long sleeves, and layers built around classic Gretsch logos and badge art
• Hats — everyday caps for the shop, the stage, and the drive in between
• Accessories — small goods designed to travel with you and your gear

New designs arrive throughout the year, and some runs are limited. When a design sells out, it may not come back.

How We Work

Every piece is produced to the standard the Gretsch name deserves. The logo is used exactly as the licensor supplies it — no stretching, no reinterpreting, no creative liberties. That discipline is part of the license, and honestly, it's part of the respect.

We choose quality over volume. We'd rather release fewer designs done properly than flood the store with filler.
