HOW THE VINYARD GOT ITS NAME
During a visit through the Gretsch drum factory, legendary drummer Vinnie Colaiuta came across shelves filled with old stock, rare parts, forgotten shells, and factory relics.
Looking around at what felt like rows of hidden treasure, Vinnie joked that it looked like a “Vin-yard.”
The name stuck.
Today, the Vinyard represents rare finds, relics, discontinued pieces, new old stock, and unique pieces of Gretsch history pulled from the shelves before they disappear again.
